Strip 4 - Daddy's Amulet - Part 3 - Conclusion

It's another edition of Tenebrous Tales!

This is the conclusion of the "Daddy's Amulet" storyline. I hope that you enjoyed it. Personally, I was uncertain of how it would turn out or how I would feel about it at the end. It was definitely an off-the-cuff story, created because I just wanted to wade into horror comics without patience or planning. Turns out, I kind of like where it went. Please let me know if you agree or not in the comments section below.

Enjoy the comic!

Strip 3 - Daddy's Amulet - Part 2

The creepy tale behind the amulet continues with some detail from beyond. It seems that Daddy wasn't such a respectable soul after all. Enjoy the comic!

Strip 1 - Fear

I've been a fan of the Horror Genre for most of my life. For years I've read and have been obsessed with the horrific and weird tales of Algernon, Machen, Howard, Lovecraft, Matheson, and so many others. I grew up watching films like The Evil Dead series, The Haunting (the classic), House on Haunted Hill (the classic), The Last Man On Earth, the Hammer Horror films, the Universal Monster movies, and many, many others. It's safe to say that most of the time I've spent being entertained by one medium or another has been spent with a selection from the Horror Genre. Naturally, I would one day wish to contribute a portion of my creative time giving back.

So, after all these years being entertained by various works in the Horror Genre here it is, my first in a long line of horror comics. Follow the Tenebrous Tales in the coming weeks, posted every Wednesday, to explore the nature of fear and celebrate the horror genre.

Soon to come...

Welcome to Tenebrous Tales. This webcomic is both an attempt to honor the work of those who crafted the marvelous EC Horror Comics of the 1940s and 50s and to explore the nature of fear through the comic medium. Each strip will be a look into a darkness both alien and familiar. Each will take you, the reader, on a journey into our collective human minds and out amongst the terrifying and unfathomable mysteries of the universe.

The first in what will hopefully be a long line of comics will be posted later this week on New Comic Wednesday. Thank you for reading. I hope that you will return to read and support this effort.
